Dover Conservation Commission Approves Scaled-Back Shed Project on Bridal Path Circle

DOVER — April 9, 2026 — Dover's Conservation Commission unanimously approved an amended order of conditions for a reduced shed project on Bridal Path Circle at its April 9 remote meeting. The commission cleared property owner Cara Fineman to build a 264-square-foot shed within the outer 150-foot riparian buffer of a perennial stream, replacing a 2023 order that had contemplated a larger garage expansion and additional site work; total disturbed area was reduced to 1,200 square feet, or 2.53 percent of the applicable resource area. Wetland consultant Mark Wadot confirmed erosion controls were in place following a repaired septic collapse, and staff noted the project would also require planning board review — anticipated April 27 — and a building permit. The board also approved three sets of long-overdue draft minutes tied to the DPW fuel island project, produced under a public records request with town meeting less than a month away. On a separate enforcement matter at 31 Springdale, Will Mitchell told the commission he hoped to deliver a full draft wetlands restoration plan, including a proposal to shift a culverted intermittent stream roughly 10 to 20 feet, by the next meeting.
