Dover Conservation Commission resolves dumping complaint and enforces wetland violations. Owner Sammy Aroustamian of 1 Snows Hill Lane agreed to remove debris from town conservation land with no fines; landscapers were instructed not to dump materials on public property going forward. In a separate matter, the Commission voted unanimously to demand that owner Will Mitchell of 31 Springdale Avenue submit a restoration plan by July 8, 2026, or face daily enforcement fines of up to $300 per violation under the Dover Wetlands Bylaw.
The Commission also unanimously approved the draft Dover Conservation Land Stewardship Plan prepared by consultant Bill Giezentanner and voted to approve invoices totaling $2,395 for land management work. Conservation Agent Janet Hartke Bowser reported a 56-meeting-minute backlog and proposed using artificial intelligence software to process older records.
