Warrant Committee · Meeting of March 5, 2026
Dover Warrant Committee reviews FY2027 budgets for four departments. Superintendent Beth McCoy presented the Dover-Sherborn schools budget at $9,380,175, down $2.07 million from prior year due to regional special education accounting changes, with in-district spending up 2.63 percent and no capital projects requested. Director Kevin McCabe's Department of Public Works budget level-funds personnel while raising engineering expenses $42,660 and equipment maintenance $21,000 to address stormwater compliance and fleet emissions standards.
Sustainability Committee Chair Anna Nagy requested a one-time $50,000 appropriation to complete a Climate Action Plan that would position Dover for up to $1 million in state infrastructure grants. The committee approved three prior minutes and adjourned at 8:05 PM.
