Selectmen approve three debt exclusion questions for May election
Board of Selectmen · Meeting of April 10, 2026
Dover places three debt exclusion questions on May 18 ballot. The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved debt exclusion override questions at their April 10 meeting for the Dover-Sherborn Regional High School roof restoration and skylight replacement project, the Town Fuel Island, and the Caryl Park parking lot and pickleball court improvements. Chair Robyn Hunter explained that debt exclusion treatment allows tax impacts to roll off once the debt is retired, rather than becoming a permanent levy increase.
The Board rejected the Town center intersection improvements to protect associated grant funding and declined to include equipment in the debt exclusion treatment.
