Board approves conservation of over 1,100 Hale acres permanently, at no town cost.

DOVER — Board of Selectmen unanimously approves conservation of over 1,100 acres at no town cost. Chair David M. Haviland and members Robyn Hunter and Cam Hudson adopted Conservation Restriction Number 17494, covering 137 acres adjacent to Powisset Farm, and Conservation Restriction Number 17495, covering 972 acres, permanently restricting future development while preserving trail access and nonprofit educational use.

The Dover Conservation Commission had previously voted unanimously to recommend adoption. The Board also approved a Consent Agenda that included a $40,000 gift from the Katelyn Tosi Foundation to the Dover Fire Department, state fire safety grants totaling $3,609.88, and Special One-Day Liquor Licenses for June 13 and 14.
