Dover Finance Committee Clears Pre-Town-Meeting Agenda, Reviews Blue Book Lessons

DOVER — April 30, 2026 — Dover Finance Committee previews contentious town meeting and critiques Blue Book production in brief remote session. The committee, meeting by Zoom on April 30, spent most of its roughly 30 minutes reviewing lessons from this year's Blue Book production — including a printer error that delivered a white cover instead of the traditional blue — and walking through procedural logistics for Monday's annual town meeting. Chair Woody warned members that the fuel island and parking lot and pickleball court items in Article 5 each require a two-thirds vote and will face organized presentations both for and against, with Michael and Select Board liaison Cam speaking in support of the fuel island and Mark Galoni presenting on the parking lot project.
