Board of Health Approves Intern MOU, Town Report, Bylaw Proposal

Dover Board of Health unanimously approves intern program and Associate Member bylaw. The Board approved participation in an intern memorandum of understanding with Needham and the Massachusetts Health Officers Association, pending legal review by Town Counsel. The Board also unanimously approved the Town Report contingent on minor edits and voted to submit a proposal establishing an Associate Board Member position to the Warrant Committee, requiring unanimous Board vote for selection.
Health Director Jason Belmonte noted that this marked the first year Dover had a public health nurse, with Nurse Gael Varsa contributing to the annual report.
