Dover Sustainability Committee unanimously voted to request $50,000 from the Warrant Committee for a comprehensive Climate Action Plan combining state-funded resilience planning with municipal greenhouse gas mitigation work. Chair Anna Nagy said the town has already secured $50,000 through the state's MVP 2.0 grant for adaptation planning; the additional $50,000 warrant request would cover technical mitigation work, bringing total funding to $100,000. The committee unanimously authorized Chair Nagy to finalize presentation slides for the Warrant Committee.
Amelia Landau, Sherborn's Sustainability Coordinator, attended and shared details on how peer towns have structured similar planning efforts at comparable cost levels.
