Library trustees approve three capital-related allocations and advance staff appreciation.
Board of Library Trustees · Meeting of April 14, 2026
Dover library trustees voted unanimously on three capital-related expenditures totaling $12,000 and staff appreciation. Chair Rob Andrews led board approval of $5,000 from State Aid for landscaping improvements and up to $7,000 from State Aid for the kitchenette renovation. The board allocated $230.86 from Gifts and Donations to purchase National Library Week commemorative t-shirts for all 14 library staff and the director.
Trustees also authorized patrons to use color printing at 25 cents per sheet. Library Director B. Klem reported that the restroom renovation project did not make the FY27 capital budget and that legal review is pending on a potential gift from the Dover Mother's Association.
