Dover Library Trustees advance plans for HVAC system replacement after summer failures. The Board of Library Trustees moved forward with HVAC replacement after the system experienced significant failures over the summer in the children's area and community room. The board approved shifting the Library of the Future/Space Assessment Committee's planning outlook from 5-10 to 20 years to access state funding.
The board also approved allocating up to $2,000 from State Aid for one trustee to attend the Library Journal Design Institute Conference in Columbus, Ohio, on October 8. Library closure dates for staff training and the Massachusetts Library Association Annual Conference were approved for October 26, 2026; February 4, 2027; and April 26, 2027.
