Housing Task Force, Library Programs Mark Quiet Dover Stretch
With the drought declaration and Aquarion water talks already well-documented this week, Dover's Housing Task Force and the Dover Public Library provided the newer threads in town life heading into the weekend.
TOWN HALL
The town's Housing Task Force continues its work on Dover's long-term housing roadmap, with the town's website pointing residents to updated materials on the effort and inviting continued public engagement as the group maps out planning options for the town's housing future. The Land Use & Housing Development page on the town website also remains a resource for residents tracking new and impactful development proposals around Dover.
The DPW's paving projects, previously announced for a July start, remain underway, and the Level 2 Significant Drought declaration continues to limit nonessential outdoor watering to hand-held hoses or watering cans, permitted only between 5 p.m. and 9 a.m., as previously reported.

The Dover Public Library's July newsletter is out, and the library continues to promote its Maker Lounge, where residents can use the sublimation printer, heat press, and XTool machine, along with its ongoing Book Clubs, including the 100 Book Club. The library also continues to highlight its Friends of the Library group and the Book Cellar Bookshop, its Senior Center Library outreach services, and the StoryWalk® feature at Dover Park for families looking for a self-guided reading activity outdoors.
