Flash Flood Watch Threatens Dover Amid Tropical Downpour Forecast

DOVER — A tropical downpour system threatens to bring life-threatening flooding to parts of Massachusetts, with a flash flood watch in effect as Dover residents are urged to monitor conditions through the coming days.

TOWN HALL

Dover's Level 2 Significant Drought declaration remains active, with the Board of Selectmen's outdoor watering restrictions still limiting nonessential use to hand-held hoses or watering cans before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m. The town's Department of Public Works also continues preparing for paving projects that were slated to begin in July, part of ongoing infrastructure work across town roads.
