Dover Housing Task Force Opens Community Input Portal for Long-Term Planning

The town's Housing Task Force is actively seeking community input on Dover's long-term housing roadmap, even as residents continue to navigate outdoor watering limits tied to a Level 2 Significant Drought declaration still in effect.

Dover's Housing Task Force has made its planning portal publicly available, inviting residents to follow the group's work and weigh in on the town's housing future. The task force is focusing on long-term strategies through a community engagement process; residents can find details and participate at the town's dedicated housing roadmap page (https://bpg.mysocialpinpoint.com/dover-housing-roadmap).

The drought declaration remains active. Residents are reminded that nonessential outdoor water use is restricted to hand-held hoses or watering cans, and only during the hours before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m. Separately, the town's ongoing work to address water quality issues for Aquarion Water Company customers — including discolored water and the presence of PFAS — continues following a recent public information session with the Board of Selectmen. The Department of Public Works also has paving projects slated to begin in July.
