Council on Aging · Meeting of April 7, 2026
Dover Council on Aging approves March finances, welcomes new staff. The board unanimously approved the March 2026 Treasurer's Report with operating expenses of $3,694.73 and welcomed new part-time Outreach Coordinator Renee Montella, who began March 31 with Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays as her work schedule. Director Janet Claypoole reported March outreach activity included 80 unduplicated contacts and 21 home visits addressing health transitions, caregiving support, and public benefits.
The Warrant Committee, citing substantial wage increase constraints, agreed to keep Administrative Assistant hours in the Formula Grant rather than shifting to the General Fund, while increasing both Program Coordinator and Administrative Assistant positions to 28 hours weekly.
