DOVER — The Dover Council on Aging unanimously approved a revised Transportation Policy following Town Counsel review, establishing reasonable accommodations for riders with disabilities while the board declined to cap alternative transportation costs that can reach $1,200 per trip. Director Janet Claypoole reported that Strength and Stability fitness classes have ended due to low attendance, while February outreach services reached 52 unduplicated seniors through 25 home visits addressing healthcare, home care, and insurance support. Upcoming Lifetime Learning programs launch in March, and the Fire Department is partnering with COA on fall prevention training, with the Warrant Committee budget presentation scheduled for March 5.
