Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 25, 2026

Dover Conservation Commission approves enforcement orders addressing unpermitted wetlands work. The commission voted unanimously to approve restoration plans and enforcement orders for violations at 8 Hamlin's Crossing and 90 Claybrook Road, requiring removal of unpermitted structures and utilities within buffer zones and a two-year monitoring period. Agent Janet Hartke Bowser emphasized the commission's 25-year practice of requiring written liability protections; she is seeking a $58,000 supplemental reserve fund transfer to cover her services through June 30, 2026.

The commission continued the Old Farm Road Water Trust notice of intent to March 11 pending a legal agreement between the town and Aquarion Water Company addressing culvert liability and relocation costs.
