Board of Health · Meeting of June 8, 2026

Dover Board of Health moves well regulations toward public hearing. The Board unanimously referred proposed amendments to the regulations to Town Counsel for legal review, with Director Jason Belmonte noting the revisions include updated water quality testing requirements and a new provision requiring hydrogeological studies for proposed wells. Chair Kay Petersen and Members John Quackenbush and Stephen Kruskall agreed the amended regulations are important to have in place before the proposed 40B project on Strawberry Hill advances further.

The Board also suspended its regular summer meeting schedule, with meetings resuming in September.
