DOVER — Board of Appeals advances special permit hearing on 45 Pine Street garage addition. Chair George Chimento conducted a public hearing on the application by Dori and Todd Barclay to add a second story to a non-conforming garage built in 1910, clarifying that any approval would exclude accessory dwelling unit authorization and noting potential additional Planning Board review under Bylaw 185-36. The Board unanimously voted to conduct a site walk on July 20, 2026 at 7:30 a.m. and schedule the next hearing for August 20, 2026 at 7:10 p.m., pending submission of more detailed and legible plans.
The Board also unanimously approved authorizing Chimento to finalize proposed regulations for adoption as Chapter 266 of Dover Bylaws.
